Situated on the second floor, Apartment Two has lots of character, a cosy feel and sleeps two. A spacious 15' x 15' lounge has a view facing the village centre and the river Windrush. It has a home entertainment system comprising 42' HD plasma TV, Sky+ with HD, a Denon stereo system (switchable to the bathroom), Blue Ray DVD player, and Wi-Fi. If you have an iPod or iPhone, the USB connector will connect directly to the Denon which will recharge it at the same time.Subscription to Napster allows you to select any music from a collection of 15 million tracks via the iPad 3 supplied.
An oak dining table and chairs is strategically placed by the window and there is a 3-seater leather reclining settee. Original elm purlings have been fully restored and mood lighting (in all rooms) completes the atmosphere. The mood lighting can be controlled from wall plates, a hand held remote or from the iPad.
The kitchen is small but well equipped with double oven, gas hob, full sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher and waste disposal unit. A separate utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bedroom is small but comfortable with a King size Relyon bed, wardrobe, dressing table (with hair dryer) and a wall mounted 32' LCD TV. The high vaulted ceiling allows for a mezzanine floor accessible by a fixed ladder. This houses a small desk, storage cupboards and a rooflight overlooking the courtyard.
Air conditioning is installed in the bedroom.
The ensuite bathroom has a large bath, separate shower, dual fuel towel rail, bath robes, ceiling mounted speakers with volume control, luxury jumbo size bath towels, backlit mirror (with separate magnifying mirror), floor to ceiling tiles, and underfloor heating.
For your security the apartment is equipped with a burglar alarm, a small room safe, a full fire alarm system and Garrison locks on the main door as well as each apartment.
A full list of the apartment contents is in our downloadable inventory. A comprehensive information folder is packed with ideas for things to do and see in the area - everything from cycle routes, and walks in the woods to local theatres and boat trips.
Due to the nature of an old building, there are steps between most rooms and Apartment Two is truly multi-level. This adds great character but may be a consideration if mobility is an issue. If in doubt, please see our Access Statement.
