5 star luxury (Rating: *****)
Unfortunately we only had 2 nights at this wonderful apartment during our 6 week trip to the UK. Best rental we stayed in by far. Everything we needed was supplied and even some we didn't!
We had fun playing with the technology, Staff very friendly. Off street parking was a bonus. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Cotswolds.

Amazing! (Rating: *****)
I want to live here! Cleanest place I have stayed with thoughtful luxury touches. I loved the light dimmer buttons. Delicious baked bread and cream tea on arrival. Lovely friendly welcome by staff. The free factory tour was a brill extra too. Can't wait to hopefully come back!
Luxury apartment with iPad thrown in! (Rating: *****)
Centrally located luxury. I loved this apartment so much I found myself thinking ...could I live here and the answer was yes. Big bright sunny rooms. All mod cons including air con and an iPad app that allows you to run music in all the rooms, turn the lights up and down and run movies and music off the TV. A cream tea on arrival and a room with a view to watch all the tourists go by. I could go on and on but in summary, find out for yourselves as it is a fabulous place. I want to go back right now. Go on treat yourself.
Room Tip: We had the upstairs apartment which was fantastic.

Faultless 5 star apartment! (Rating: *****)
My boyfriend and I have just returned from a long weekend stay at this apartment, and we could not fault this accommodation from start to finish. It was unbelievably clean from top to bottom - all appliances and furniture were modern yet still reflected the look and feel of a countryside cottage. The bed was incredibly comfy and the pillows were very nice. Bathroom was amazing - large deep bath, spacious shower and heated tiles were a nice touch.
It was such a shame to leave but we would definitely return. Thank you to Lynn for the arrival tour and to John for checking-in with us on our first evening. If you're thinking of staying in Bourton then look no further than the Cotswolds Perfumery. Perfection!

More deserved praise for this excellent apartment! (Rating: *****)
What a great spot.... Easy booking, excellent communication with John & Lynn - they are extremely organized. There was absolutely no expense spared creating this delightful rental.
We stayed 3 nights in June & were actually sad to leave. The location was great - with a view of the river & all the 'tourists' that arrive by the load every morning, but depart by the evening, leaving Bourton on the Water a delightful spot to wander around sans tourists (except us of course)
The apartment (Flat 2 in our case) is actually better than the website can show. Kitchen & bathroom were top notch - the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a flat rental anywhere in Europe. The bedroom was at the back which was extremely comfortable, & very quiet with a delightful view into the courtyard. We had surprisingly warm weather for the beginning of June & had to switch out the cuddly allergy free duvet for a quilted (also allergy proof) duvet substitute - a quilted blanket found in the armoire - there was even a choice of pillows for those with sensitivities.
A welcome table of local scones, preserves & clotted cream awaits you on arrival, along with half a dozen eggs & a loaf of bread.
We unfortunately were not around in the middle of the day for a tour of The Perfumery but it sounds like a very worthwhile thing to do if you have the time.
We can't speak highly enough of this excellent apartment & definitely would stay there again in a heartbeat - kudos to John & Lynn.

Perfect! (Rating: *****)
My wife and I stayed in apartment 2 for three nights over the Easter weekend.
The initial booking process was very simple and from the outset John and Lynn provided a huge amount of useful information, not just about the apartment but about the area in general which helped us plan our stay.
The apartment itself was just as described and pictured (if anything, the pictures make the bedroom look smaller than it actually is), both here and on their website - great period features, top quality appliances, fixtures and fittings throughout, use of an iPad (for general internet searching, a full Napster account and control of the lighting!), full Sky package... the list goes on.
The Perfumery is situated right next to the Tourist Board which was handy, but even so the apartment came with a folder full of information about the area, attractions, amenities and suggested itineraries.
I'd definitely recommend the factory tour as well as a walk to Upper and Lower Slaughter, but my favourite thing was probably eating a leisurely breakfast in the apartment, looking out at the river and watching all the dogs stroll by!
There's a reason (at the time of writing) this place has unanimous 5* reviews and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else next time I visit the Cotswolds.
