Alterations to Perfumery Exhibition

2005 has seen some substantial changes to our visitor attraction known as the Perfumery Exhibition. In brief, the Exhibition has been coverted into a factory and factory tours allow visitors to see behind the scenes.

Two main factors have driven this move. The first is that over the past decade the manufacturing side of the business has grown substantially and we desperately needed more space to produce our products. Secondly, customer feedback made it clear to us that visitors want to see more of the actual manufacturing process.

Work has now finished on the factory and we are taking bookings now for factory tours. Tours need to be booked in advance and cost £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. Groups are small (usually 5 or 6 at a time) and the tours last about half an hour. You will be shown the Compounding room, the perfume laboratory, the perfume garden and the factory.

Until we establish a pattern tours will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10.30am and 2.00pm. If you wish to book please telephone us on (01451)820698. Later we hope to have an on-line booking system. A leaflet on the factory tours should be available later this year.
