Using Sat Nav? We have discovered that if you use our postcode, some databases (e.g. Tom Tom) will send you 17 miles away to Victoria Street in Cheltenham and not Victoria Street in Bourton on the Water, so please check. Bourton on the water is located on the A429 between Cirencester and Stow on the Wold. To use the following directions set your trip recorder at the point stated and unless otherwise stated go straight over all cross roads, traffic lights and roundabouts. All distances are cumulative so do not reset your trip recorder again.

When approaching from the South West M5 (Bristol):

0.0 miles       Leave M5 at junction 11A (Cirencester, Gloucester). Set your trip recorder at the first roundabout and take the first exit at this roundabout (A417 Cirencester, Gloucester).
3.5 miles       Go straight over at roundabout (A436 Stow on the Wold)
5.8 miles       Turn left at 1st roundabout and immediately right at the 2nd (A436 Stow)
8.8 miles       Two left turns close together – take the second (Andoversford)
10.0 miles     T junction at A40.  Turn left and immediately right (A436 Bourton, Stow)
19.2 miles     T junction at A429.  Turn left and immediately right into Lansdowne
19.8 miles     Turn right over the river and first right into Victoria Street
19.9 miles     Cotswold Perfumery is 70 yards on left hand side.

When approaching from the North West M5 (Birmingham):

0.0 miles       Leave M5 at junction 9 (A46 Evesham).  At motorway roundabout set trip recorder and take the first exit (A46).
3.1 miles       Take the third exit at roundabout (B4077 Stow)
13.6 miles     Turn right to Bourton
19.7 miles     Turn right and immediately left into village centre
20.4 miles     Turn right over the river and first right into Victoria Street for 50 yards
20.4 miles     Cotswold Perfumery is on the left hand side.

When approaching from the East M40 (London):

                   Leave London on the M40 signposted for Oxford and Birmingham
                   Leave M40 at junction 8 and take A40 (Oxford and Cheltenham)
                   Follow the A40 around Oxford, Witney and Burford towards Cheltenham.
                   At the roundabout with the A429 take the 3rd exit (Stow-on-the-Wold)
                   After 6 miles turn right at traffic lights into Bourton-on-the-Water.
                   After approximately 3/4 mile turn right at the Post Office to Village centre then immediately left over the river
                   Take the first right into Victoria Street. The Perfumery is 50 yards down on the left hand side.

By train..

The nearest station to Bourton on the Water is Moreton in Marsh (9 miles) and you then need to book a taxi to Bourton in advance.  Alternatively you can travel to Cheltenham where you need a short taxi ride (from a taxi rank) to the city centre where you can catch a Pulhams bus (Service 801) from the Royal Well bus station.  For Saturday mornings catch the 9.00am bus from Cheltenham which arrives in Bourton at 9.35am and is just 50 yards from the Cotswold Perfumery.  The Perfumery Course starts at 9.30am but losing 5 or 10 minutes from the beginning of the course will not cause a problem.
